While doing the task, I was able to get information on the causes, consequences, and solutions of climate change and sea level rise. In order to create a blog, which is the final goal, our team thought about what role is essential, and divided the team into a data research team and a blog creation team. I've been interested in creating blogs and Internet pages before, so I joined the blog creation team. I organized a blog based on the data found by the data research team. In the process of organizing the blog, I conducted images and detailed data research, and the time was very interesting and I was able to get a lot of things.

I recognized the seriousness of sea level rising through researching. As a result, I tried to find solutions in my daily life. There will be no change with my efforts, but I wanted to continue it.

Issues about sea-level rise have never been my concern so far. When our group mates decided to talk about the issue I had no clue where to start. However, as I slowly proceeded with my research about the problem I was able to understand the extent to which the problem has been threatening our lives. Some facts and knowledge I learned from the class had also assisted me to have fuller understandings of the cause of the issue.

From researching to suggesting solution about the problems that the world is facing in detail and making our own website about it, at the same time, was refreshing and enjoyable. As a freshman it was very challenging for me, but because our team members helped me, I was able to catch up the project and finish it.

Throughout this project I gained some ideas of sea level rising. When I searched the causation of the sea level rise there were variety of ideas then I expected. I only thought the cause of the sea level rise is global warming. Many researches show the detail consequences of the sea level rises. Researching about sea level rise was quite challenging for me because researches provide me some materials which are based on experts’ experiment. Therefore, it was quite challenging to interpret those words into mine. However, it was a useful experience that I was able to know the deep consequences of the sea level rise which raise awareness of global warming.

I was not really interested in sea level rising. However, recent news deals with sea level rising which it made me interested in sea level rising. The more I learned about sea level rise during this project, the more I realized that this is not a threat in the distant future, but a threat closer than we thought. I was able to gain new knowledge through this project. I think it was a good experience.
